APS Lineworker Scholarship

​Project Description:
Friendly House will support scholarship recipients throughout the program by providing case management services to ensure that they are successful during the school year and that they are prepared to be the best possible candidates for a Lineworker Career. Friendly House will guide the students through any academic processes, coordinate the CDL certification, ensure all the students are CPR certified, and provide any necessary support services while they are in the program.

This program is in partnership with Yavapai College.  We are looking for recruits residing in rural areas.

Scholarship “To Do” Checklist:

 

  • High School Diploma

  • FAFSA Student Aid Report

  • Attend the APS Pre-Apprentice Virtual Workshop

  • Motor Vehicle Division Record

  • Completed and Signed Scholarship Application

Certification and Authorization to Release Information and Records

I certify that all the information provided is true and correct. I understand that information provided may be verified to help determine my eligibility for the program. I authorize the release of student records required for participation in the Friendly House Lineworker Program. These records shall include but are not limited to all transcripts (including special education and English Language Learner Program), grade point average, progress reports, attendance, withdrawal, standardized test scores, and class schedules. These documents and all information will be held in strictest confidence by Friendly House, Inc. staff.

 

I, the undersigned, do hereby consent and agree that Friendly House, Inc., its employees, or agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings and to use these in any and all media, exclusively for the purpose of Friendly House Lineworker Program.
